It was comfortable and had a relaxed atmosphere. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would stay again

Quite expensive for such a very small room

Staff were attentive and food was good. Hotel is located ideally for touring the surrounding area.

My daughter enjoyed the friendliness of the guests as well as the employees. The suggestion for hike to the castle was great! Thank you.

Please consider lowering the volume of the DJ/music. With a b&b, people like me stay to communicate with "new" friends and acquaintenances. The volume of the music caused a situation where we had to shout to communicate. We ended up leaving the bar much earlier than planned, and so did 3 other people we talked to, simply because of the volume of the music. Once in the room the music interferred with going to sleep---. Will also save the hearing. I am amazed that so many are so concerned about being environmentally careful, yet will willingly, like sheep, loose their hearing at an early age because of lack of hearing protection and volume control. Simply fixes that you can institute!

The fact that they mixed up our booking and got a back room instead of a sea view.We did not except this and ended up in a far better hotel the Club house in Nairn

The fact that we booked our room in April and confirmed it a week before our arrival date. But they still got it wrong.

Nice "pub" feel; parking nearby; nice view and pleasant beach environment. The pub dining was a little expensive (wine), but nice food. Friendly, helpful staff.

Good location and views, good bar with choice of real ales, good breakfast and evening meal, bedroom clean and well-provided, comfortable residents' lounge

          Bedroom on the small side

The bedroom was very small and in the attic so you kept nocking your head.It was advertised as en/suite but we had to go out of the room in the corridor to a toilet/shower room which you shared with another room so when you visited the loo you had to come back to your room to wash your hands, not satisfactory, The shower head kept falling of so you had to hold it in your hand and there was rust in the shower tray. The whole experience was a nightmare as my hubby has had a stroke so he has to use the loo many times during the night. We don't think this hotel is value for money far from it.

Very friendly from welcome, service to signing out. Room newly decorated...bright & airy with wonderful sea view. Choice of restaurant or bar meals - both excellent with good choice and value for money. Great for Real Ale enthusiasts...what a choice! Would highly recommend the Braeval having dined there many times, it was our first stay but won't be the last.

Enjoyed our short overnight stay to visit the Nairn Ceildh. Staff were very helpful. Great breakfast. Morag phoned us the next day about our feedback and this gesture was much appreciated.

The curtains were so thin they did not keep out any light and would benefit from blackout lining. We were above the pool room and unfortunately were disturbed by people outside until 12.45am.

Met all my expectations, great selection of real ales, good food at sensible prices and all served with a smile! Lovely location and very comfortable room with good shower.
